The take-off point and the mountain hut of Vivere il Montepizzo ASD are located in a panoramic position in the Bolognese Apennines. Below you will find all the directions you need to reach us.
By car (from Bologna):
- From Bologna, follow the road towards Vidiciatico.
- Once you arrive in Vidiciatico, follow the road signs towards Corno alle Scale.
- At the first hairpin bend, turn left onto Via Monte Grande and continue for approximately 2 km.
- Arrivati in località Budiara, troverete uno spiazzo asfaltato delimitato da una stanga in ferro: è il punto dove parcheggiare l’auto. Indirizzo (V. Monte Grande, 55 Vidiciatico, BO).
- From the car park to the hut (on foot)
Once you have left your car in the Budiara car park:
- Continue on foot for approximately 900 metres along the dirt road.
- At the end of the path, you will arrive directly below the hut, which is located close to the Montepizzo take-off area.
The take-off area is located within the national park reserve; consequently, it cannot be reached directly by car.
